About
Hi, I'm Lena.
I founded Tracelle and built the app myself because I needed it: since early 2025 I have been on an injection therapy, and I wanted one place where my whole history comes together.
I studied and worked in Munich, Boston and London, most recently a master's in Business Analytics. So in my job I do pretty much what Tracelle does for you on a small scale: turn lots of single data points into a picture you understand at a glance.
How it started
At first I simply wrote the days I injected into my notes app. Only the weekday and the date, without the dose. That sounded like enough at first. It wasn't.
I actually tracked quite a lot: food, drinks, training, sleep, steps, injections, supplements, weight. There just wasn't one place where everything came together. Every number lived somewhere else, and I never had the full picture.
It was most obvious before doctor's appointments, for example for blood tests or a body composition scan. Every time I brought a pile of papers. Seeing connections or really following my progress was hardly possible like that. When was that again? Which dose was I on six weeks ago? And how was I actually feeling back then?
Why I built Tracelle
I wanted an app where I log what happened in a few seconds and later see at a glance how the last weeks really went. Injections and injection sites, weight and body composition, well-being, supplements and drinks, plus training, steps, sleep and protein from Apple Health and, if I want, my cycle. All in one calendar, side by side instead of spread across many places.
And before an appointment, a report I can show on my phone instead of bringing a stack of papers or telling it from memory. This is what it looks like. Tracelle doesn't interpret anything. The app puts your entries side by side; what they mean is something you discuss with your doctor.
What's behind the name
Trace means following a track. That's exactly what the app does: it keeps the trace your therapy leaves in everyday life. Elle is French for she. I built Tracelle as a woman, and topics like the cycle simply belong in it for me. Of course Tracelle is for everyone who wants to document a therapy.
What matters to me
Your data stays with you
No account, no cloud required. Your entries live on your iPhone, not on my server.
No ads, no tracking
No selling of data. Health data is too personal for that.
Document, don't judge
Tracelle doesn't tell you what to do. What follows from your history is something you discuss with your doctor.
Made in Germany
Built in German first, with a full English version.
Write to me
Tracelle is still young, and I keep building it with every piece of feedback. If something is missing or you have an idea, write to me at hallo@tracelle.app. I read every message myself.
